Operator and responsibility

bmiatlas is run by AMOR FATI d.o.o., a Slovenian software company. No medical professional reviews the content. The calculators provide general reference values, not a diagnosis or individual treatment advice.

Formulas and sources

We choose WHO reference bands, NICE guidance and peer-reviewed formula papers. Each relevant page cites its sources. BMI describes weight in relation to height. The other equations estimate body composition or energy expenditure and cannot account for every personal difference.

Funding and updates

There are no ads and no tracking. Each page shows the date of its last content revision. When sources change or an error is identified, we check and correct the affected content. Send corrections to hello@amorfati.si.

This calculator gives general reference values and does not replace advice from a doctor. For children and teens under 18, during pregnancy and breastfeeding, for very muscular builds and in older age, the results are of limited use.
